Hope Antonopoulos 81 died after a brief and sudden illness on July 28 2007 at Halifax Hospital. She was born in Pennsylvania on August 3 1925 and moved to New York City when she was a young child. She attended public schools in New York and worked as a medical clerk and secretary for numerous doctors and hospitals both in New York and Florida the last being with Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach. In 1973 she moved to Orange City from New York and then a few years later she moved to South Daytona. She enjoyed reading and had a deep love for all animals. The most important thing in her life was being a wife and mother. She was a totally selfless and kind human being who was devoted to her husband and children. She provided a constant source of unconditional love for her family and friends.

Mrs. Anotonopoulos' beloved husband Sam passed away only forty two days before her on June 18 2007 after 58 years of marriage. She was a loyal and loving wife who missed Sam desperately after he died. Sam was in Sandlewood Nursing home for two months before his death and despite her severe pain crippling arthritis a deteriorating hip and dependence on a walker she visited him every single day up until his death.

She is survived by two sons George of Daytona Beach and William of South Daytona; her in-laws Cristus and Persefoni Antonopoulos; her cousin Helen Antony; her good friend Lynda Laren and numerous nieces and nephews.
