Homer L. Warrren age 91 of Daytona Beach Florida went to his heavenly reward on Tuesday May 5 2009 in Winter Haven Florida. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Saturday May 9 2009; 2:00 PM at Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church 1705 Taylor Road Port Orange FL. with Rev. Jeff Birch officiating. Interment and military honors will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Mr. Warren was born in Athol Massachusetts to Donald and Ella Warren. He was a proud WWII veteran of the US Army fighting in Guadalcanal. He graduated from Bentley Business School (now Bentley College) and dedicated his talents as a Financial Systems Analyst for General Electric. He was a devoted husband father and grandfather.

With the exception of fourteen years in Wilmington DE he lived in the Daytona Beach area since 1966. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and he loved playing cards gardening and reading.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Iris V. Warren 3 children; Kirk S. Warren Lakeland Fl Jane D. (Bob) Ochterbeck Houston TX and Gail W. (Edwin) Mears Bear DE and 10 grandchildren.
