Obituary

Born in Mayagüez Puerto Rico, Feb 15th 1961 Hiram Ramirez Sr. Was raised in The Bronx, New York and was a city boy at heart. He loved to live and lived with little regrets. Hiram was a diehard baseball fan as a child and used to sneak into the Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees play.  In his younger days he used to love to sing to his recorder with passion. And loved watching wresting. Had a love for cars especially Lincoln mark eight which he has two of them. And a Chevy.

Hiram has two children with his previous relationship his daughter Sigourney Ramirez and son Hiram Ramirez Jr. They truly meant the world to him and everyone knew that.

In 1995 he met in Newark New Jersey Rosita Ramirez, and married his wife of 27 years, they lived the best life they could he lived for his wife and kids he took care of her when she was sick, he did his best to be part of his children's lives all while raising three more step children, Jovani, Jason and Joel. He loved to take the family to New York to spend time as a family at zoo's or museums and he loved to take them to Jersey shore beaches.  He loved nature and law shows and animal Chanel's . CNN was probably the most watched channel as he grew older. he had a green iguana, a vast variety of fish breeds, turtles and loved dogs. He left behind Luna, an Dogo Argentinian and Rex a border terrier/Yorkshire mix. who he loved dearly, his wife brought him from Puerto Rico Oreo a shitzu  that was his world and helped him heal when his cairn terrier  Roxy pass away. One thing we can say Hiram was a amazing grandfather to four children, Elena, Genavia, Ezrah and Jovani, those were the proudest years he had,Seeing his children becoming parents and seeing the family values passed on. Elena and Ezra and Gigi would always go to the house asking for grandpa before they called grama. And he would be so happy to spoiled them.  You would always catch Hiram outside in front of his fish pond which was his pride and joy. One thing about Hiram he always had a cup of coffee in his hand day or night. Sometimes he would be outside without a shirt and if the wife wasn't nagging, about his unkempt hair and facial hair. Which He didn't care about others opinions, as Billy Joel would say… "this is my life"

If you knew Hiram you knew he loved coffee and loved to eat Food and also  loved to do all the cooking and how he can change anyones mood after they simply smelled or knew he was cooking.  And every christmas year he would say I am not doing a pig but was quick to season it and would be so happy and proud when it was done.

Hiram was such a amazing person the best provider and protector anyone can ask for, he was  a great son, brother, uncle, father, husband and grandfather he will be missed.

God took the best when he called him.
