Gene W. Hewett 81 of Daytona Beach passed away on March 15 2009. He was born on February 3 1928 in Logan Kansas. Gene was a U.S. Army veteran. He taught high school business classes in Kansas and rehabilitation activities in Cincinnati Ohio. Gene is preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and he is survived by his wife of 41 years Irene of Daytona Beach; two daughters Trixie Swearingen and Teresa Weggans of Holdrege Nebraska; his twin brother Joe Hewett of Longview Texas; also seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
