Herbert "Herb" Doll age 83 of Ormond Beach died Monday July 7 2008. Herb was born November 9 1924 in Brooklyn NY November 9 1924. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II. Herb owned and operated Doll's Stationary Store in Brooklyn and was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service New York NY. He was also a security guard at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls NY. Herb was a 32nd Degree member of the Kismet Temple and was a founder of the Kismet Motor Corps Long Island NY. He will be remembered for the love of his late wife of 61 years Midge and their fondness of motorcycles. He is survived by his children Herbert F. (Karen) Doll of South Hampton NY Robert J. Doll of Lake Luzerne NY; daughter Pat (Jeff) Vasilinda of New Smyrna Beach; daughter-in-laws Susan Englese Josephine Doll of Lake Luzerne NY; grandchildren Patti Jennifer Laura and Herbie; great-grandchild Elena. Herb was predeceased by his loving wife Midge and a daughter Margaret M. Maguire and son-in-law Dave H. Maguire. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Lake Luzerne NY.
