Henry Leonard Clements ("Larry"), beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 16, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on February 15, 1939, in Frederick, Maryland, Larry was the cherished son of Leona and Thomas Henry Clements. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Ann Marie Clements, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years of marriage.

Larry is survived by his children, Leianne and Tom, and their spouses, Penelope and Jonas. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Maddy, Callie, Zoë Chloe, and Noi, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

Larry graduated from The McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Maryland, and went on to pursue higher education at Bethany College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He spent 32 years with Rock-Tenn Company, rising to the position of Executive Vice President. At the age of 55, Larry retired and devoted himself to his family and his hobbies.

A man of many interests, Larry was an avid hunter with a particular fondness for dove hunting and a lifelong love of golf. Whether on the golf course, tending his yard, or admiring vintage cars and trucks, he found joy in staying active and spending time outdoors. He spent countless hours caring for his home and yard. He also enjoyed reading mystery novels and running what his family affectionately referred to as "unnecessary errands."

Those who knew Larry will remember him for his unwavering devotion to Ann Marie, his strong work ethic, his meticulous care of his home and yard, and his love for his family. As the first in his family to graduate from high school, Larry valued hard work and perseverance, lessons he carried throughout his life and passed on to his children and grandchildren. Above all, he took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Halifax Hospice for the compassionate care and support provided during Larry's final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Halifax Hospice in Ormond Beach, Florida.

 Larry's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
