Henrietta Louise Prueter Phillips passed away on January 4, 2022 and entered heaven to meet her heavenly Father.

She had just celebrated her 93rd birthday on December 18, 2021. Born and raised in Wapakoneta, Ohio, she graduated from Blume High School at age 17 and entered Lima Memorial School of Nursing in Lima, Ohio. While attending nursing school, she met the love of her life, George Pierre Phillips, Jr., whom she married in 1949. After graduating, Henrietta became a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio for 20 years.

Then she and George moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked at Halifax Medical Center for another 20 years until she retired. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, George Pierre Phillips, Jr., her parents Alfred and Alma Prueter, brothers Orville, Frederick, and Walton, and her father-in-law George P. Phillips, Sr. and mother-in-law Nina M. Stahl Phillips.

She is survived by her children who loved her dearly, Kathryn A. Cable of Lancaster, Ohio, Robert P. Phillips of Lancaster, Ohio, and Deborah K. Tinsley (Frank) of South Daytona, Florida; granddaughter Megan L. Tinsley (fiancé Michael and sons Elias and Jonah) of Roanoke, Virginia, and grandson Matthew W. Tinsley of Lancaster, Ohio, brother John (Rosemary) of Plymouth, Michigan, several nieces and nephews and their families.

Henrietta did not wish to have a funeral. Lohman Funeral Home of Daytona will provide cremation services and a pilot will spread her ashes in
the Atlantic Ocean, three miles from the Sunglow Pier in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, the same place George's ashes were spread.
