A private memorial service will be held for Henrietta W. Lenz age 91 of Glen Way Holly Hill FL. Mrs. Lenz passed away at Bishop?s Glen Holly Hill FL on Tuesday May 9 2006.
Born on January 9 1915 in Ottawa IL she attended and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1932. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington IL and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in 1936. She spent her career as a music teacher and enjoyed teaching students to play the piano retired in 1974 and moved from Joliet IL to the Daytona area. Henrietta spent most of her life enjoying listening to music and enabling others to play and enjoy it. She married Robert L. Lenz on August 17 1937 and spent 53 years with him until his death together they loved to travel especially to Europe and London which was her favorite place. She was a member of the Ormond Beach 1st Methodist Church and worked as a volunteer at the Ortona Elementary School.
Henrietta is survived by her 2 daughters. Barbara Burton of Ormond Beach; and Barbara?s 2 children; Eric Burton of Daytona Beach FL. and Jeffrey Laura Burton of Ormond Beach with their children Trent Claire & Emery.
And daughter Elizabeth Dr. Ernest Schiller of Greensboro NC and their children Brian Schiller of Dallas TX and Emily Schiller of Greensboro NC. Also a sister Jeanne Zimmerman Wayne of Ottawa IL.
