Helene S. King passed peacefully from this life on Thursday April 11 2013 at her home. She was born on February 19 1920 to Andreas and Agnes Stollorz in Dinslaken Germany. Helene was a war widow in Germany when she met and married Roy C. King of Charlotte SC. She became a naturalized US Citizen in 1954. Helene was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Roy C. King. She is survived by nephews: Gunter Wojciechowski (Ingelore) of Dinslaken Germany Jurgen Schnable (Hilde) of Wesel Germany Nieces: Inge Hottentot (Kees) of Permerend Netherlands Leni Muelman of Permerend Netherlands and Ruth Macioloroski Germany along with many great- nephews and great-nieces; longtime friend Nancy McGregor who provided for her care. Loving caregivers: Pearl Murphy Amy Wagner Michael Hunnell Julia Ward JoAn Euverard Barbara Keene and Joanne Wineberg.She was an avid gardener and very proud of her beautiful home gardens. She was a member of the Deland Garden Club along with being a long standing member of the Deland P.E.O. Chapter. She provided funds to the YMCA to build a water park for children in memory of her husband Roy C. King. She will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family.
