Helen Foose Templeton

A memorial service will be held on Monday August 20 2007 at 5:00 pm for Helen Foose Templeton 86 of Palm Coast Fl who went to be with the Lord on August 16 2007 following a brief illness. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of service.
Helen's life was full of joy and activity as she and her husband William Templeton raised their 3 children living in Glen Rock and in Ridgewood NJ. Bill predeceased Helen in 1998.
Helen was the daughter of Rose Forman Foose and Henry Foose and grew up on their farm in Moonachie New Jersey. She was actively involved in the church in Glen Rock as president of the Woman's Guild a scout leader for Bonnie and Bob helped with Wendy's dance recitals and attended every sport Bob played. Helen was always available to attend the activities her children were involved in.
Helen remembered one of the highlights of her life was living in England and in Belgium. Helen Bill and their son Bob traveled extensively through much of Europe. Helen was involved in the American Woman's Club in England and in Brussels. Upon returning from Europe Helen was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She served the Red Cross for 25 years. She also worked with the Glen Rock garden Club The Friends of the Library and the Recycle program in Glen Rock.
One of Helen's life time passions has been antiques; wherever they traveled antique shops would be on the agenda. Helen refinished and restored antiques for herself and her children.
Helen is survived by their 3 children Wendy Koehler of Scottsdale Arizona; Bonnie Popet of Palm Coast FL; and Robert Templeton of Lago Vista TX and Prudhoe-Bay Alaska 11 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren her sister Vera Foose Sassenscheid of Hillsdale NJ 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
