Helen E. Smith age 73 passed away Tuesday morning May 24th at her home in Holly Hill after a long illness. A Funeral Service for Helen will be held on Friday May 27th at 8:00 pm at Atlantic Coast Community Church 1212 Conrad Drive New Smyrna FL. Her family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday. Helen was born in Huntington NY and moved to Florida in 1974. She lived in Oak Hill for 16 years and recently moved to Holly Hill to be closer to her family. Helen recently retired from Ward Realty where she had worked for numerous years. She also owned Leaf and Petal Nursery in Boca Raton FL. She was a member of the Atlantic Coast Community Church. Helen loved gardening and bingo but her main focus was on her family. Helen is survived by her son Gordon Smith Jr. and his wife Maria of Ormond Beach her daughters Linda Darcy and Steve of Miller Place NY and Lauren Steller and her husband George of Centerport NY her grandchildren Dustin Darcy and Jacqueline Steller. She is also survived by her sister Eileen Hunter of Aquebogue NY and her brother Bud Goodier of Port Orange FL.
