Helen "Janet" Willis Predmore, 89, of Palm Coast, FL passed away after living a long life, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born in Morristown, NJ to the late Edgar and Bertha (Burt) Willis. She was an inspirational woman loved by all, a devoted wife, an amazing mother to four children, eleven grandchildren, and twenty (almost twenty-one) great-grandchildren.
Janet was predeceased by her son Gerald "Jerry" Predmore and siblings John Willis, Edgar "Junior" Willis, and Minerva Caldwell. Janet graduated from Morris Hills Regional High School in 1954 and went on to graduate from Newark Beth-Israel School of Nursing in 1957. While in high school, she met her husband Gerald and after nursing school they wed in 1958. She then worked at Dover General Hospital for forty-one years until she retired. After retirement, her and her husband moved to where they now reside in Palm Coast, FL. Janet enjoyed spending time with family, visiting Disney, playing games, watching Jeopardy, and doing word puzzles.
Janet is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years Gerald Predmore of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by daughters Valerie Flood of Lancaster, SC, Lori Thatcher and her husband Andy of Bangor, PA, as well as a son Kevin Predmore and his wife Jeannine of Indian Trail, NC; grandchildren Heather and Jim Rosendale, Amanda and Steven Brown, Jonathan and Bethany Flood, Aaron and Lauren Thatcher, Christina and Mike Sahagian, Brittany and Randy O'Haus, Ryan and Elysabethe Thatcher, Danielle and Nicholas Engels, Patrick Flood, Rachel Thatcher, and Kenneth Predmore. Janet will be missed deeply by her great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
