Born in Moosic PA to the late Mary Flynn and Edward Laggan Helen relocated to Ashville NC in 1958 with her husband of 54 years. She resided in Ashville until 2006 when she relocated to Daytona Beach to be with her daughter Mary. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Leo McCawley her sisters Mary Laggan and Alice Laggan Kress and her bother Paul Laggan. She is survived by her son Robert M. McCawley of Swannanoa NC her daughter Mary E. McCawley of Daytona Beach FL her brother Joseph Laggan of Arizona and her grandchildren Anthony Rover McCawley and Elizabeth Michaela McCawley of Daytona Beach FL.
