Helen Leonard 92 of Deland FL. passed away on Sunday November 20 2011. She was born February 05 1919 in Protivin Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Bubla. Helen worked for over 20 years in retail sales for Woolworths Drug Store Inc. and Leed's Shore Stores in Deland. She was married for 41 years to her husband Glynn until his death in 1998. Helen enjoyed children young people taking care of flowers and plants interior decorating and painting among other various interest. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church for over 40 years. She is survived by her son Craig Leonard of Deland FL. her sister Jen Hallock and brother Bob Parker both of Cedar Rapids IA. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Craig would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Oakwood Garden Nursing Home and Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler both in the Deland area for taking such good care of her over the past 10 years of her life. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church Deland at 10:00am on Wednesday November 30th with the Interment to immediately follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Deland.
