Funeral services for Helen S. Johnson age 83 of South Daytona will be 12:00 Noon Friday January 2 2009 at Covenant United Methodist Church of Port Orange with Pastor Paul Pollock conducting services. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 A.M. to Noon at the church prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Daytona Memorial Gardens. Helen was born in Mooresville North Carolina September 14 1925. She moved to Volusia County from North Carolina in 1964. Helen will best be remembered for her keen sense of humor and generous spirit always having a "Bag of Snacks". She never met a stranger. Helen is survived by her children sons Creighton Johnson of Edgewater Jimmie Johnson of Troutman NC; daughter Janet Koltes of Apache Junction AZ; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
