Helen M. Huckle of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Nov. 4th, 2023 at the age of 95 following a brief illness. Helen was born in Sault STE Marie Ontario on Aug 30th, 1928.   Helen soon moved to the U.S after meeting her husband, Horace Huckle. She cherished a loving and rich life married to her husband, Horace, for 53 years until his passing in 1999.
Helen and Horace were long standing members of the Daytona Friendship force carrying them to numerous travel adventures of a lifetime during their early retirement years. Together they visited over 26 countries, spent 2 years in Nigeria and occasionally offered hospitality as hosts to foreign members of the Friendship Force visiting the United States. In her later years, she was an active volunteer for Halifax Hospice.
Let it be known that Helen was loved and admired by those that traveled her path. She was kind, she was generous, her heart was rich and her life was full. Above all, She was an extraordinary and special gift to her family.
Helen is survived by her son, Terry Huckle and daughters, Margaret Hudson, Susan Piece and Sherry Press. Extended immediate family also includes 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday Nov 18th with a  Visitation from 10:00am until the Service begins at 11:00am.
