Helen L. Hower 77 of Port Orange who courageously battled illness for 10 years passed away on May 11 2008. Helen was born on February 13 1931 to the late Leonard and Charlotte Lucas in Portage Wisconsin. Helen worked as a waitress for many years and was a dedicated and loving homemaker to her children. She enjoyed bike riding swimming and bingo and traveled to various places with her partner and confidant George; enjoying Vegas and Biloxi as well as other popular gambling attractions. Helen leaves to cherish the memory of their lives together her lifelong love of 27 years George Warren; her children Vicky (Butch) Magrini Sharon (Dave) Geocaris Gary (Jill) Hower Sandra Hower and Glenn "Chip" (Nancy) Hower; her seven grandchildren two great grandchildren and numerous dear friends who will all miss her love life and laughter deeply.
