Helen C Benditt, 94, of Deland passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12:00 at Lohman Funeral Home Deland. Family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Deland Memorial Gardens.

Helen was born on August 4, 1919 in Darby, PA to George and Sarah Barthelmes. She moved to this area from Hialeah, FL in 1989. Helen enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a Past Treasure of Lake Beresford Garden Club and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters Carol (Randy) Poole, Debbie (Richard) Woods and son Steve (Sherry) Benditt all of Deland; granddaughters Sandi (Bart) Cobb and Patty (Mike) Rolley of GA; grandsons Alex Woods of Deland and Ryan (Caroline) Woods of CA; great grandchildren Andrew, Miranda (Kyle), Christy, Patrick, Jake all of GA; great great grandsons Hadden and Branden of GA.
