Heidy was born in Zurich, Switzerland, and moved to Ormond Beach in 1988 from Long Island. She later relocated to Palm Coast. She was a merchandise manager for Winn-Dixie for 10 years.

She was a member of Crossroads Calvary Chapel in Ormond Beach and had a passion for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and it showed in all her works and deeds. She left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 38 years, Joseph; two sons, Christopher of Virginia Beach and Anthony of Palm coast; and a brother, Jurg Berri of Urdorf, Switzerland.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
