Hector Serrano, 76, of DeLand, Florida passed away on May 17, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1948 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Francisco Serrano and Marcelina Ortiz.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Serrano and Marcelina Ortiz.

Hector is survived by his partner, Genoveva Torres; his step-children, Arlene Torres, Felix (Kristina) Torres, and Christina Torres; his step-grandchildren, Jose, Javier, Claudia, Felix Jr., Lydia, Matthew, David, Jonathan, Muñeca, and Hector; and his step great-great-grandchildren, Keilani, Miliano, Kiyan, and Kiyari.

A visitation for Hector will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home – DeLand. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church at 11:00 am, followed by interment at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
