Hazel Mae Lunstead age 83 passed away at her home in Palm Coast on Sunday August 13 2006. Visitation and Calling Hours will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday August 15 2006 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday August 16 2006 in Palm Coast United Methodist Church.
Hazel was born in Escanaba MI on June 20 1923 to Lambert & Marie Peterson. She was a secretary for the American Can Co. for many years and moved to Palm Coast from Yorktown Heights NY in 1990. Hazel was a life-long Methodist and was very active within the churches she attended. She was a choir member Sunday school teacher and attended or taught many other classes. Hazel also enjoyed knitting & crocheting having made many family & friends sweaters scarves & comforters. She also loved to play the piano sing dance & she was an avid reader. Hazel & her husband Robert Lunstead shared a beautiful life together. They were totally committed and devoted to each other and were an inspiration to their family. Robert preceded Hazel in death on August 5 2000. Left to cherish their memories of Hazel are her son & daughter-in-law Wayne & Karen Lunstead; daughter & son-in-law Janice & Wayne Castrovinci; and her grandchildren Jason wife Angela Kyle wife Amy Jessica Kris Robert Kimberly & Peter.
