Memorial service Hazel L. Gruman who passed away Sunday January 15 at Ormond in the Pines at the age of 90 will be Tuesday January 17 2006 at 2:00pm at the Ormond in the Pines. She was born on June 28 1915 in Kansas City Missouri and moved to this area in the early 1980?s from Silver Spring Maryland. Hazel was a Librarian in Prince George Country Maryland for 20 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach. Hazel enjoyed reading and loved cats. She also sponsored a child through the Christian Childrens Fund. Hazel was predeceased by her husband Vincent and her son Edward Lee. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Paul Steffee of Kansas City MO George Steffee Jr. of Johnson City TN and John Steffee of Suwanee GA her daughter in law Joyce Gruman of Glendora CA her 4 grandchildren her 4 nieces and her nephew.
