In Loving Memory of
Haydee Abreu
Haydee Abreu, lovingly known as “Guita”, was a woman whose life was defined by love, generosity, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Born in Puerto Rico, Haydee eventually made her way to New York, where she worked as a seamstress. Her journey was a testament to her strength, perseverance, and commitment to building a better life for herself and her family.
Haydee's greatest gift was her heart. She was sweet, generous, and full of love, always giving freely and making others feel welcome. She loved to laugh and, just as much, loved making others laugh. Her warmth and joyful spirit brought happiness to those around her, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Haydee loved her family deeply. She was the proud mother of Gustavo, Valentin, Denise, and Luis, and a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Her family was a living reflection of the love she poured into the world.
Whether sharing laughter, preparing a meal, or simply being present with the people she loved, Haydee had a way of bringing people together. It was never about doing something extraordinary; it was about the love behind the little things. That love was her true legacy.
Her hands worked hard, her heart loved deeply, and her laughter brought joy. Her love will remain with us forever.
Rest peacefully, Guita. You will always be loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed. Con todo nuestro amor, hasta siempre.
