Hasu Patel lived a full, loving, and beautiful 79 years of life with her family.

Hasu was born in the small village of Gopipura in Gujarat, India to Becharbhai and Hiraben Patel. She married her husband, Natverlal (Natu), in May of 1959. With her two sons, Devang and Mayank, Hasu immigrated to the United States in 1972, joining her husband who had left India three years prior to pursue the American Dream for his immediate and extended family. Hasu and Natu raised their sons in Stamford, Connecticut, where they lived for over 30 years.

Throughout her life, Hasu took care of the people she loved. She was a loyal friend, dedicated mother and grandmother, and devoted wife. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, and Aditya. She loved them deeply, and always prepared each of their favorite meals in anticipation of their frequent visits. In retirement, Hasu and Natu moved to Daytona Beach Shores where they spent eight glorious years together enjoying the company of family and friends. Hasu never missed a day in the fitness room or a Saturday at the Hindu Temple in Daytona. She also traveled extensively with her husband and many friends. Hasu, in her own unique and loving way, has touched so many with her generosity.

Hasu is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Natu; and her two sons, Devang and wife Lisa of Danbury, CT, and Mayank and wife Sneha of Armonk, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, and Aditya; her brother Shantilal of Wakusha, Wisconsin and sister Lalitaben of Somerset, New Jersey. Hasu is predeceased by her brothers Natubhai and Jethabhai Patel.
