Harvey Eugene "Ossie" Blalock went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was born on October 6, 1939, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. On September 3, 1961, he married Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Smeigh. Together, they shared 64 years of marriage and raised two children.

Harvey owned and operated Blalock Grading & Paving in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 1979, he and his family moved to Port Orange, Florida, where they owned and operated Blalock Construction Co. He retired in 2019 at the age of 80.

He was an avid fisherman and later became a dedicated golfer. Above all, Harvey was a man of God who faithfully served his church and community.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; his son, Mark; his daughter, Karen; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at Providence Church, 1151 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174, on January 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
