A Memorial Mass for Harry F. Sanker 73 who died Saturday September 23 2006 at Ormond Memorial Hospital Ormond Beach FL will be held on Thursday September 28 2006 at 11:00 AM at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church Flagler Beach with Rev. John Tetlow Pastor as Celebrant. Entombment will be held at Vine St. Hill Mausoleum Cincinnati OH. Friends may call at the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach Wednesday from 2-4 PM. Harry moved to the area in 1990 from Cincinnati OH with his wife Carol of 43 years. He was born March 27 1933 in Cincinnati OH the son of Harry D. and Vera Meyer Sanker and graduated from Elder High School in Ohio. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sanker was a proud American; He enjoyed golf and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. He was a member of Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church Prestwick and Riverbend Golf Courses. Surviving him include. His wife Carol a Brother Robert a ½ brother David Hay and a ½ Sister Karen Hay all of Cincinnati.
Mr. Sanker worked as a Property manager for 5/3 Bank in Ohio before retiring to Ormond Beach in 1990. Memorial donations can be made in his name St. Vincent De Paul Society
