Harry Hawke of Daytona Beach Fl formerly of Newportville PA passed away on Sunday August 7th 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was 88 years old. Born in West Hazelton Pa Harry was a Merchant Marine in World War II. He moved to Newportville and worked as an electrician at Rohm & Haas until his retirement in 1984. He taught Industrial Electricity evening classes at the Bucks County Technical School in the 1970's and was an avid amateur radio operator. After retirement he moved to Daytona Beach where he enjoyed roller skating and ballroom dancing. He is survived by his wife Arlene (nee Evert) of 66 years and his children Judy Hawke Schilling of Ambler PA David (Carla) of Houston TX and Robert (Barbara) of Newportville PA and four grandchildren. Funeral services are private.
