Harold "Harry" Kinsler Ernsberger

Harold Kinsler Ernsberger passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 74. He passed peacefully in his home with his devoted wife by his side.  Harry was born on December 31, 1947 in St. Augustine, Florida to Dale and Mary Lou Ernsberger.

Growing up in Daytona Beach, Harry graduated from Mainland High School in 1965 where he enjoyed his time as a Buccaneer football player. He went on to graduate from Florida State University in 1970 with a degree in Business.  Harry was a loyal fan of the FSU Seminoles.

Upon graduating, he began his career at Xerox in Tallahassee as an Education and Government Specialist from 1970 to 1977. He moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1977 and started an office equipment company, Graphcom.  It is there that he met his loving wife of 41 years, Phyllis Arnold Ernsberger.  Together they moved to Orlando, Florida in 1987 where Harry worked for Monroe Systems for Business until retirement. Settling back in the Daytona Beach area, he enjoyed many sunny days on the golf course with Phyllis and friends.

Harry is survived by his wife, Phyllis; brother Dale Ernsberger (wife Virginia) and their sons Scott and Paul; sister Mary Lou Wardwell (late husband, Les) and their sons Matthew and Josh; step-daughter London Thornton (husband Doug) and their sons, Andrew, William, and Crawford; several great nephews and a great niece, and many wonderful friends.  He is predeceased in death by his parents, Mary Lou and Dale Ernsberger, Sr.

Harry was a kind, strong, intelligent, and loving man with an amazing recall of song lyrics which he could be found serenading Phyllis and others.

A celebration of Harry's life has been planned by family and friends for Tuesday, March 22.  Many stories will be shared and at Harry's request, "A Pirate Looks at Forty" by Jimmy Buffett will be played.  Harry had a great life and was loved by many.
