Dounhoo US Navy Retired 83 of Ormond Beach who passed away on Wednesday at Ormond Memorial Hospital Ormond Beach will be held Sunday August 5 2007 at 2:00 PM. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Chapel 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Harold was born December 30 1923 in Thomaston GA. He served in the US Navy for more than 20 years serving in WW II Korean and Vietnam wars. He was present during the signing of the peace treaty aboard the USS Missouri. After serving his distinguished military career he retired to Florida in 1962. Harold began his second career in 1962 in Law Enforcement until 2003 in various capacities including Holly Hill Daytona Beach and Edgewater Police Departments. He is survived by his wife Margaret 2 sons John and his wife Erika Dounhoo Basel Switzerland George Dounhoo Ormond Beach 2 daughters Mary Isabel Dounhoo Savedow Daytona Beach and Joanne and her husband Mark Tavzel Palm Coast.
