Harold W. Bickner Sr. 92 of Daytona Beach passed away on Thursday December 4 2008. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday December 9 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach. The Family will receive friends Monday December 8 2008 from 5-7 pm at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach. He was born on October 16 1916 in Bronx NY to William and Kathleen Bickner. Harold was a retired office and home furnishings salesman. He was very active in his church Mr. Bickner sang in the choir at our Lady of Lourdes and he enjoyed ushering at the church. He was also an avid golfer and was very proud of his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Muriel Bickner and his brother William Bickner. Survivors include his two sons Harold ""Nick"" W. Bickner Jr. and his wife Janet of Northville Michigan and Robert J. Bickner and his wife Patcharin of Verona Wisconsin; two sisters Marion Chiappi of Bronxville N.Y. and Florence Agostini of White Plains N.Y.; also four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
