Hariklia "Cleo" Marcinko, 84 of Ormond Beach, FL, entered into eternity with her loving God and eternal Father on September 1, 2015.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 3rd from 4~7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. Funeral Services will then be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church, 134 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
Hariklia was born in Iraklion, Crete on February 8, 1931. She was one of six children born to Demetrios and Anna Halkiadakis, all of whom have gone to the Lord.
Cleo, Nana, YaYa, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother great-grandmother and loving friend to many in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area. She was the matriarch of a large extended family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob" Marcinko, her three daughters, Mary (Mark) Timmerman of Oviedo, Florida, Judy ( Chip) Miller of Port Orange, FL and Paula Estridge and Del Lyons of Wilbur by the Sea, FL as well as grandchildren, Brandon and Angela Miller, Blake Miller and Meagan Martin, William Acree III, and Victoria Sartori, Anastasia and Michael Bahr, Bowen Miller, Robert Estridge, Dillon Estridge, and Sabrina Miller, and three great grandchildren Isaac, Aubrey, and Blake (LB) Miller, and a new great grandchild arriving in October.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings; four brothers and one sister.
Hariklia will be missed for her love and dedication to her family and friends, her strong Greek Orthodox faith, cooking and baking, of both American and Greek cuisine, her green thumb and beautiful gardens. She took care of her plants like her family, with lots of love and attention.
