Gypsy L. Ludvigsen, of Ormond Beach, formerly of Ft. Mitchell, Ky, passed away on March 9, 2016.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20th at 12:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.

She was born in Covington, Kentucky to Chester and Hazel (Stough) Huff.
Gypsy attended the University of Cincinnati, the University of Kentucky, and Drama College Schuster-Martin, and was active with the U.S.O. and went on to become one of five finalist for Miss Cincinnati.

Gypsy married Robert L. Waxman who was prominent in Cincinnati's golfing circle. She became active in charity modeling and local theatrical groups throughout Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati. She felt privileged to play a leading role in a religious drama Awhich aired on a Palm Sunday.

After her three children were born, she dedicated herself to Beechwood Independent School District activities, and both Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, as well as being Supervisor of the First United Methodist Sunday School.

Gypsy traveled extensively throughout her life with all her husbands. In her earlier years golf was a favorite pastime. She always enjoyed cooking, entertaining, was an avid bridge player and voracious reader.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Waxman, John Carleton, Carl Ludvigsen and her much loved daughter, Deborah W. Frakes.

Gypsy is survived by her daughter, Wendy Barger, and her two sons, Bradley and Brent, as well as her son, Robert Waxman, and her numerous step-children with whom she maintained contact throughout the years.
