Gustavo B. Alamo, 66, died peacefully at his home, May 15,  2018 with his family by his side. ​He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Kathleen ​of 45 years and 3 daughters, Kori Jessel (Roger), Nealy Miller (Jonathon), Dawn Alamo-Rodriguez (Jorge Robles) all residing in Deltona, FL. He will be treasured as a very proud "Papa" to his 7 grandchildren, Brandi Jessel, Natalia Rodriguez, Amanda Jessel, Gustavo Rodriguez, Roman Miller, Omar Rodriguez and Isabella Miller.

Gus was born June 11, 1951 in Havana, Cuba. He is a graduate from Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois. Married Kathleen, April 28, 1973 and later moved his family to Florida in 1985, where he retired from Communications in 2014. His greatest passions were spoiling his grandchildren, watching sports, being at the beach, traveling on cruises, cooking and deserts.

Friends and  Family are welcome to join in a Celebration of Life ​at his home in Deltona, June 10, 2018 between 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. In lieu of fresh flowers, we welcome potted plants, deserts or fruits.
