Gurga A. Petreska 75 of Ormond Beach FL passed away January 8 2012 at her home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 11th from 10am - 7pm with the Trisagion at 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday January 12th at 10:30 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church; 252 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach Interment at Volusia Memorial park.
Gurga was born on April 22 1936 in Macedonia to Menka and Trajan Atanasoski and relocated to Volusia County in 1988 from the Bronx NY. She was a retired Sunglass manufacturing assembly worker. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and loved to cook and bake.
Gurga is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Pavle Petreski of Ormond Beach loving sons Mile Petreski and his wife Tatjana of Ormond Beach and Lupce Petreski and his wife Katica of Pound Ridge NY by a brother Alekso and sisters Nevena and Ilinka of Ormond Beach and by five grandchildren Alexander Anabella Stefan Kristofer and Gabriella.
