Guillermina Vicente Vega, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother " ABUELA ", passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2019, at the age of 76. She was born on September 15, 1943 in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Pablo and Julia (Vega) Vicente. A 28 year resident of Volusia County. Guille, as known by all, enjoyed spending time with her most precious possession her family and friends, listening to music, taking long walks, gardening and spending time outdoors. Her life was truly an example of Faith and Love . She never met a stranger, always gave of her time and heart by opening her home to so many that will treasure her forever. She will be dearly missed by her surviving 4 children, Carmen C. Rivera, Hiram N. Ortiz, Carlos J. Ortiz and Zarilia M. Rosado, her 12 grandchildren and her 5 great-grandchildren.

A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23 at 11:30 a.m. at The Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church, 317 Mullally Street, Daytona Beach, Florida. Co- officiating will be Fr. Tim Daly and Fr. Edwin Cardona. A celebration of life reception will follow at Breakaway Trails Club House, 16 Breakaway Trails, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
