Mrs. Guilia D. "Julie" Wright, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on March 10, 2015. She was born in West Hoboken, New Jersey and moved to the area in 1985.
Julie attended City College of New York, New York University and Eagan's Business College. Julie retired in 1964 as an Executive Assistant for 19 years and was employed by the CEO of Carrier Corporation where she was the first woman officer ever elected by the Carrier Board of Directors. A Kentucky Colonel commissioned by Governor Martha Layne Collins.
Julie was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for 30 years and sang in the choir. For years, she also was a volunteer federal income tax preparer. She was loved by her family and many friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Maria D'Antonio; her loving husband of 42 years, James H. Wright; brother, Renato D'Antonio; sister, Dora Piccinich; and her ever faithful companion FoHsi. A
Visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. A Mass Celebrating the Life of Guilia Wright will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, FL.
