Grenfall (Gren) James Beachler passed away July 1, in Ormond Beach. Gren was born on January 31, 1924 in Akron, Ohio and spent much of his life in the Lake Worth area before moving to Vero Beach, then settling in Volusia County. He was an avid wood turner and watch and clock collector and upon moving to the area became an ardent supporter of the Daytona Playhouse. Gren and his family were involved in real estate in both Ohio and the west Lake Worth area. Gren was predeceased by his first wife, Arlene, son Kim, and sisters Alice and Miriam. He is survived by his wife Donna and her extended family, sister, Alene Beall, son Mark and his wife Jeanne, and their children Rikki and Sean Whitcomb and Jessi and Paul Reid, great-grandson Bain, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16 at the Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange for a Memorial Service that will begin at 11:00. The family requests that any donations in his honor be directed to Halifax Health Hospice.
