Gregory Paul Pfouts passed away peacefully in his beloved canal home in Palm Coast, Florida on April 23rd, 2026. Gregory was sixty-eight years old, born in Cleveland, OH to Donna and Dennis Pfouts.

He grew up in Bainbridge, OH; a standout athlete in both football and track for the Kenston Bombers. He continued his education in Athens, OH attending and graduating from the Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. In addition to earning his degree, he also met and married his wife of forty-three years Rise; thus, cementing Ohio University as a cornerstone of his life. He bled Green and White!

Gregory climbed the corporate ladder at 3M Company for thirty-four years, beginning his career as a Sales Representative during the Post-It Note era and retiring as a 3M Executive in St Paul, MN. He found success in his professional life, but Greg always made his faith and family his top priority.

Gregory is survived by his adored mother Donna, cherished wife Rise, children Katherine, Davis (Brianna), and Kellie, his 3 grandchildren Audrey, Jackson and Ezra Gregory, Brother Christopher (Nancy), sister Laura (Edward) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis.

Greg never met a stranger. People of all walks of life were drawn to him for his wit, humor and charisma. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He found great joy golfing, fishing, and hunting throughout this country and beyond. Ever the conservationist, he appreciated and respected nature as a steward of the land.

Funeral and memorial services will be held in Palm Coast, Florida, Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Stillwater, Minnesota with details to follow.

Greg supported the American Cancer Society, Outer Banks Forever and the Wounded Warrior Project. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in his name.
