Grant Stephen Gerhardt, 57, of Palm Coast, Florida died under duress on September 18, 2026.

He was born on October 14, 1969, in Abington, PA. to Gwen and Stephen Gerhardt, with Tetralogy of Fallot'. He endured many medical trials throughout his life, but kept his love of life, and friendly disposition.

He graduated from Burlington County Vocational School in the National Honor Society. He then worked for McDonalds until a car accident in 1993. He nearly fully recovered and followed Gwen and Steve to Florida. There he was looked after for many years by his coordinator, Rob Sanderson, and his Aunt Gail, Uncle Steve, and cousin Susan, who always made time for him.

Grant loved God and church. He especially loved his friends and opportunity to worship at Bunnell United Methodist Church. His Godmother, Dr. Susan, was always present in his life from afar. His brothers, Tyson and Geoffrey meant so much to him. His sister-in-law, Wendy was indispensable in his last hours.

Grant made many friends at his last place of residence, especially Julie and Bob, and Duke, who preceded Grant in death. (He REALLY loved Duke!) Grant loved animals, Star Wars (especially Grogu), and above all else, Michael Jackson. He was an amazing artist, drawing hundreds of sketches over his lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, etc., Grant wanted donations to be sent to: Bridges UMF, PO Box 335, Bunnell, FL., 32110.

When asked how he wanted to be remembered, Grant said he wanted people to know how much of a good life he had, that he enjoyed school, and was a good artist.
