Grace Marra, 91, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025.
Born on February 22, 1934, in Syracuse, New York, Grace was the beloved daughter of Mary and Joseph Torzon. Raised in Syracuse, she met and married the love of her life, Marino "Sonny" Marra, with whom she shared 71 wonderful years of marriage.
In 1963, Grace and Sonny moved their family to Daytona Beach, Florida, where they built a loving home and lasting memories. Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her husband Marino "Sonny" Marra, and their children: Marianne (Richard) Owen, Mark (Cinda) Marra, and Christine Campanella (Tony Grey). She was predeceased by her beloved son, Anthony Marra. Grace was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 10.
Grace was an active member of the GE Wives Group, where she formed cherished friendships. She enjoyed reading, making puzzles, baking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her love of baking filled her home with warmth and sweet memories.
She also worked at Montgomery Ward, and later in the childcare room at the Port Orange YMCA, where her kind and caring nature touched many young lives.
Grace will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
