A Memorial Service for Grace L. Ellison age 81 of Daytona Beach FL died Sunday July 10 2005 in Daytona Beach FL will be held 7:00pm Wednesday July 13 2005 in the chapel of the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange with Rev. Alan Gaylord as officiant.
Grace was born December 4 1923 in Vineland NJ to Floyd and Mae Bell Scott. She has been a resident of the Daytona Beach area since 1981 when she moved here from Stroudsburg PA. She was an accountant until her retirement in 1973. Mrs. Ellison was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Holly Hill. Grace was a volunteer for Girl Scouts of America for over 20 years and served on their National Council First Aid with the Ambulance Corps in New Jersey and also for the Pioneer Days in Astor. She enjoyed making jewelry and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Wesley F. Ellison and her son Scott W. Ellison. She is survived by a son Alan E. of Port Orange FL a daughter Diane P. Walker of Daytona Beach FL 5 grandchildren; Alan J. Patrick Jimmy Mary & Gina and 6 great grandchildren.
