Gordy Gardner passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Ormond-by-the-Sea Sunday December 2 2007 after a long valiant battle with lung disease. His music laughter and passion for life will be missed by all who shared the journey and joined the party. He is survived by his wife Carol daughter Angie Gonzalez her husband Joe two grandchildren Gabriel and Alexa and Angie's mother Rosie Countryman his mother Carol Gates brother Gerry Gardner two sisters Gay Linda Gardner and Gloria Wildeman and their families. There will be a celebration of Gordy's life on Wednesday December 5th at 11AM on the beach at Tom Renick Park in Ormond-by-the-Sea followed by a gathering at the Fraternal Orders of Eagles Ormond-by-the-Sea Airie 4435 1544 Ocean Shore Blvd. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Gramps Fund @ Bank of America where a trust has been established for Gordy's grandchildren.
