Gloria passed peacefully into Her Savior's arms and eternity on December 26, 2019. A memorial service, followed by a committal, will be held on Friday, January 17, 11am at Daytona Memorial Park & Funeral Home; 1425 Bellevue Ave. Gloria was born in NYC on August 4, 1933. Her parents were born in Puerto Rico. She lived in the Metro NY area until retiring from AT&T. She had dual career tracks. She was a trained oral and reconstructive surgical assistant, starting at a prestigious Madison Ave Center. She returned to working for the NY Phone Company as a Repair Department Administer in Mt. Vernon, NY and then in Peekskill, NY. Gloria has been a resident of the Daytona area for 25+ years, following behind many retiring family members. One of her favorite activities was to give back by volunteering weekly as an auxiliary family member for the Advent Health Hospital of Ormond Beach Florida.  She also enjoyed a monthly ladies Christian Bible Study and fellowship. She leaves behind her son, Rev. Gregory Walsh, and Audrey (wife) of Hinesburg, Vermont; Mrs. Eleanor Pagan of Debary, Florida (sister-in-law); and brother, Rev. Richard Pagan, and Robyn (wife) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She also leaves four adult grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Krystal, and Ben with 18 great-grandchildren. There are numerous extended family members that she loved and called regularly. This included nephews, nieces and cousins from NYC & Florida to California & Puerto Rico. She also had countless treasured friends. Her Christian faith was deep and genuine.
