Gloria Jean Kerney age 78 of Deland South Daytona went to her heavenly rewards on Friday January 29 2010. A funeral service in her honor will be held Wednesday February 3 2010; 11:00 AM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The visitation is scheduled for Tuesday 2/2/10 5-7:00 PM. Gloria was born the oldest of three children in Hicksville Ohio to Arley and Hazel Doub. She dedicated her many talents in the clerical field her fondest employ was Ball State University. She will best be remembered for her high sprit love of our Lord her beautiful poetry and her vast intelligence. Her parents her brother Kenny and a son Billy Petty preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved daughter Wendy Kerney and Wendy's partner Liz Bailey Leicester England a sister Sandy 2 grandchildren; Aslan and Arwen Petty and 3 aunts; Pat Betty and Shirley. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
