Gloria F. Durnin, 87, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 6, surrounded by her three sons in Ormond Beach, FL. The beloved wife of 56 years of her predeceased husband, Frank Durnin, Gloria was born in Bridgeport, CT where she and Frank raised their family together. Gloria graduated from Central High School and retired as a Payroll Manager for Sears. In retirement, Gloria and Frank enjoyed traveling and spending their time on a beautiful lake in northern Vermont and at their ocean-front home in Florida.

Gloria will be remembered as a smart, strong, family matriarch. She will be missed by family and friends, who find peace knowing she has been reunited with her loving husband Frank.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents George and Bertha Seeger and by her sister Barbara Shuby. She will be sadly missed by her children: Scott Durnin (Judith) of VA, Brian Durnin (Meribeth) of CT, and Kevin Durnin (Gerilyn) of CT.; and by her grandchildren: Mitchell, Christine (Andrew), Benjamin, Wendy, Rachel and Jason.

A private service for family members will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Salvation Army.
