Gloria "Pat" Apicella of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully on her 80th Birthday March 18 2010. A Visitation will be held Today Sunday March 21 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 22 2010 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home. The family will receive guests beginning at 11am.Interment will follow at Volusia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pat was born on March 18 1930 in Syracuse NY to James & Viola MacDowell she was one of seven children. Pat married the love of her life Francis Apicella and they shared a wonderful marriage until his untimely passing at the early age of 37. They were the proud parents of eight children four boys and four girls. Pat and the children moved to the area in 1969 from Long Island NY. Pat enjoyed life as a homemaker; and her greatest success in life was her loving family. She let nothing come before them and was a devoted mother and grandma.

Pat is survived by her loving children; sons James (Regina) Apicella Mark(Mary) Apicella Chris(Linda) Apicella David (son Luke) Apicella Daughters Patty (Ron) Myers Diane (the late Ron)Trout Chere (Henry) McClellan Debbie(Rev. James) Sorvillo Brother Gerald (Ann) MacDowell Sister Agnes "Joy" Busk nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents beloved husband Francis and several brothers and sisters.
