Glen A. Leizear, 53, of Port Orange passed away on May 19, 2014.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 3:00 P.M., at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach. The funeral service will begin in the chapel at 3:00 P.M., with Entombment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Glen was born on June 18, 1960 in Takoma Park, Maryland to Peggy Kluttz and Frank L. Leizear, Sr. He locally owned and operated The Club House Restaurant for 22 years, where he made many dear friends over the years, and was well loved in the community. He had a personality that made everyone feel accepted, and was known for his humor.

Glen was a dedicated Master Mason and was Past Master of Daytona Beach Lodge No. 270, current President of the Greater Daytona Shrine Club, a Noble of Bahia Shrine, and a 32nd degree member of the Orlando Scottish Rite. He was also a longtime supporter of Masonic affiliates for women and youth. He was member of Daytona Beach Court No. 44, Order of the Amaranth. He served as Amaranth's Grand Royal Patron of Florida in 2011, was elected Chief Commissioner of Appeals in 2013, and served as a Deputy Supreme Grand Royal Patron.

He was the current Worthy Patron of Daytona Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star, and Past Associate Bethel Guardian of Job's Daughters, Bethel #5 of Daytona Beach. Glen was also a member of the following organizations, Lions Club of South Daytona; Fraternal Order of Eagles, South Daytona; Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #40, New Smyrna Beach; and Zangi, Port Orange.

Glen is preceded in death by his father Frank L. Leizear, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Leizaer; children, Sara Elizabeth Leizear, Alan Raymond Leizear, Nicholas Leizear; brothers, Frank L. Leizear Jr., Larry (Peggy) Leizear, Norman Washington; many extended family members, and friends.
