Gladys Louise Hardy 86 years young. Born February 10th 1927Departed June 19th 2013 in the comfort of her home in Port Orange FL. Gladys was a long time resident of Long Island NY as well as enjoying her retirement in Ponce Inlet and Port Orange FL. She loved to cook and would not let you leave her house without at the very least taking something to-go. She was a true pioneer for women in banking Gladys enjoyed her retirement with an active lifestyle on the beach workouts at the gym pool walking reading and gardening. A loving Great-Great grandmother of 2 with one on the way great grandmother of 5 grandmother of 8 our Nana will be cherished in the hearts of her daughters Nanette & Leslie nieces & nephews and countless friends & family members. Memorial service to be held on Friday June 28th from 6-8pm at Lohmans Funeral home 1201 Dunlawton Ave in Port Orange FL. Final resting place is located at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale NY with services held on July 19th 2013 at 11:00 am.
