Gladys M. Cheney 91 of S. Daytona entered eternal rest on Wednesday August 26th 2009. A Visitation will be held Tuesday September 1st at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach St. Daytona Beach. The family will receive guest from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. Services will be held at 11:30 am. Gladys was born January 30th 1918 in Detroit MI to William and Annie Evans. Gladys was a homemaker who enjoying spending time with her family and loved ones. She was a loving mother grandmother and devoted parishioner of St. Mary Episcopal Church. She is preceded by her parents two siblings and her loving husband Waldo Cheney. Survivors include her daughter Ann Cheney of S. Daytona and son John David Cheney five grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grand children. Gladys will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Waldo at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery 1425 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach following services at the Funeral Home.
