Gladys Caseley Moore, 86, of Palm Coast, passed away peacefully in her home on April 4, 2018. A Gathering for Family and Friends will be held from 2-4 pm on Monday April 9, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, FL 32137. She was born on June 4, 1931 in Havana, Cuba to Hugh Langshaw Caseley and Dulce de Cardenas Caseley. She came to NY at the age of 9 and then moved to this area in 1987 from Fairfax, VA. Gladys was a member of the Pine Lakes Women's Golf Association, an associate Sludgehammer golfer, the Irish-American Social Club and was past Secretary of the Palm Coast Historical Society. Gladys was a volunteer for the Cancer Fund and Easter Seals Society. She enjoyed golfing, crafts, gardening and shopping. She was a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and Penn State Nittany Lions. Survivors include her three daughters, Babette "Bobbi" L. Moore of Cooper City, FL, Susan (Robert) Killebrew of Jensen Beach, FL and Jennifer (Bill) Wagner of Cincinnati, OH; her longtime friend and loving companion, Jim Canfield of Palm Coast, FL; five grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, Ashley, Alexandra and Marie; six great-grandchildren, Billy, Dylan, Samantha, Jacob, Christopher and Caseley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Malkmus, who she married in 1951; her second husband, Ernest G. Moore, who she married in 1959 and traveled all over with him during his service in the US Air Force; she was also preceded in death by her sister, Vivien Martha Allison and by her great-granddaughter, Shyanne. Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to Easter Seals Society, 520 N. Semoran Blvd., Suite 280, Orlando, FL 32807 or to the Palm Coast Historical Society, 18 Florida Park Drive N., Palm Coast, FL 32137.
